    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    PLEASE NOTE: Items that we deem to be scrap e.g tyres, plastic, metal, wood etc, will be refused at point of delivery (regardless of pre-booking). Please ensure that all stationary items are delivered 7 days prior to the start of the auction and all rolling stock at least 5 days prior to the start of the auction. Note that a completed entry form will not guarantee a placing in the auction and any late entries may be refused without warning. 

    Please note: we do not accept items such as IT equipment; office furniture, fixtures and fittings; scrap wheels and tyres; tyres with less than 50% tread pattern; plastic road barriers; domestic and white goods; prefabricated buildings and cabins; unmarked and unsealed chemicals, oils and paints; plastic cab guards; gas bottles.

    Engines must be strapped to a pallet and not leaking fluids.

    Any machinery that is leaking excessively will be rejected.

    All road registered vehicles will be HPI checked and machinery may also be TER checked. If the vehicle/machine does not sell, there will be a charge payable of £25 plus VAT for this service. This will be waivered if the vehicle/machine is sold in the auction.

    If there is finance on a vehicle/machine, you must notify us at the point of entry submission. We will also require an in-date settlement letter from the finance company.

    We reserve the right to reject an entry form at any time.

    I HEREBY SUBMIT the above items for inclusion in the next auction subject to your Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale. I UNDERSTAND that the Auctioneer reserves the right to sell the item to within 10% of the guide/reserve price.

    Vendors commission is charged at the following rates:

    10% of the first £500, 5% of the next £500, 4% of the next £1000, plus 3% of the balance, subject to a minimum commission charge of £5 per lot.

    I have included a reserve in the description box above on items which I wish to be sold with a reserve. I UNDERSTAND that I can only place a reserve on an item of £100 or more.

    I UNDERSTAND that all unsold lots left on the auction site and not collected will be automatically reconsigned to the next sale and sold at the auctioneers’ discretion.
