Your Guide to Buying with Watts & Associates Auctioneers

In order to bid in a Watts & Associates auction, the first step is to create an account online (this needs to be done even if you have an existing account with us from the live sales) by clicking “create account” when you have found the current auction.

Once your online account is created, you will still need to “register” before each and every sale.

To create your account, the system will ask for your contact details and address. After this, your account will be manually approved by W&A staff before the start of the sale. We may call you to check the details provided, and you can call us to check up on your approval – 01226 247 591.

There are some important things to remember before you bid:

  • This is a trade auction, and a multi-vendor sale, which means we cannot offer ANY guarantee or warranty on any item.  The catalogue description is a guide only.  If you cannot make one of our viewing days to inspect and try an item, assume it does not work and is for sale for spares only – there is more detail in the Terms and Conditions, which must be agreed to before you bid.

  • Payment will be expected by the close of business on the Friday following the sale.

  • Items are to be collected by close of business the following Friday (2 weeks).

We urge all prospective buyers to read and understand our full Terms & Conditions.
