Onsite bidding

Registration for onsite bidding must be made at the General Office either on viewing or auction days. A registration form can be downloaded from the website and completed beforehand in order to speed up the registration process. Just click on the ‘Bidders Number Application’ link under ‘Downloads’ on the right of your screen.

A deposit of £500 is required from UK buyers not known to the auctioneers. £2,000 is required from overseas buyers.

Money Laundering

Watts & Associates must comply with the Money Laundering Regulations. We may require you to produce proof of identity and address when registering with us. Accepted ‘poof of identity’ documents can include:

  • UK Driving Licence
  • Passport
  • European Identity Card

Accepted ‘proof of address’ documents can include:

  • Council Tax bill
  • Utilities bill (either electricity, water, gas or broadband/satellite TV bill)
  • TV licence
  • Bank statement
